The Tourist Office of Segura offers information about the most important monuments of the village, as well as information about hiking trails and the other towns in the region and in the rest of Gipuzkoa.
Services of the Tourist Office of Segura
The Tourist Office of Segura offers guided tours to show the interesting monuments.
Guided Tours:
Ardixarra House: Tourist Office, exhibition room and the Medieval Interpretation Center, unique in the Basque Country (the visit can be guided or open).
Old Quarter and Carcaba: declared Joint Monument in 1996.
The Church: Basque-Gothic style, declared Historical Artistic Monument, as well as its Baroque altarpiece.
Prices and schedule:
Complete guided tour: Ardixarra House, old quarter, Carcava and the church... 6.50 € per person (minimum group: 8 people)
Guided tour schedule:
Saturday: 11:30 / 17:00 (in Spanish)
Sunday: 11:30 (in Basque)
Public holidays: 11:30 (language, according to demand)
NOTE: in case of not completing the minimum group, the following options will be available:
- Medieval Interpretacion Center, Ardixarra... 2€ per person
- Church (minimum group 4 people)... 2€ per person

Apart from tours about the middle ages, in Segura there are options for doing other types of visits. For more information ask at the Tourist Office.
-The making of Idiazabal cheese: in the cheese factory Ondarre, you can learn all about the process of making the cheese. This rural farmhouse offers a guided tour showing the entire process of making cheese, as well as the stable, pastures, etc. At the end of the tour you will be able to taste this award-winning cheese.
-Route: Segura, Natural Source of Life. A path of 4.6 kms. The route aims to teach the nature and culture of the river Oria and all the water that runs through Segura.
